About the author:
J.M. DeBord’s debut novel Something Coming tells the story of the return of an ancient king, Antiochus IV Epiphanes, to fulfill prophecies of a second coming. Originally conceived in 1999 as prophetic writing about the Antichrist, it evolved into a sweeping novel about the Second Coming. Ten years later, it is published at a time when the world is mired in a situation described in the story: on the brink between enlightenment and extinction.
DeBord worked as a journalist and Pilates instructor while writing Something Coming, and has published several hundred newspaper articles as well as short fiction and opinion pieces at his website. He has also worked in music promotion, marketing, and politics. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from a state university in Ohio.
